What changed

A sufficiently large prepared cluster state supports universal quantum computation through adaptive single-qubit measurements. The construction realizes wires, arbitrary one-qubit rotations and controlled gates, while tracking measurement-dependent Pauli byproducts with classical processing.

Scientific scope

A sufficiently large prepared cluster state supports universal quantum computation through adaptive single-qubit measurements. The construction realizes wires, arbitrary one-qubit rotations and controlled gates, while tracking measurement-dependent Pauli byproducts with classical processing. The entangled resource must first be prepared by interactions; 'measurements only' describes the subsequent computation, not a computer requiring no entanglement or classical feed-forward. The proposal is not an experimental demonstration, a resource-free speedup, or a complete hardware noise-threshold theorem.

Evidence

The linked original works support the scoped statement and contribution attribution. WRS has not independently replayed experiments or reconstructed a full mathematical proof. The entangled resource must first be prepared by interactions; 'measurements only' describes the subsequent computation, not a computer requiring no entanglement or classical feed-forward. The proposal is not an experimental demonstration, a resource-free speedup, or a complete hardware noise-threshold theorem.
