Qin, Niu and Shi developed formulas for energy magnetization and explained how circulating equilibrium currents affect thermal transport coefficients. In a noninteracting anomalous Hall example, the corrected calculation avoids a low-temperature divergence and recovers the expected relation between electrical and thermal response.
Scientific scope
Qin, Niu and Shi developed formulas for energy magnetization and explained how circulating equilibrium currents affect thermal transport coefficients. In a noninteracting anomalous Hall example, the corrected calculation avoids a low-temperature divergence and recovers the expected relation between electrical and thermal response. The formalism assumes the stated equilibrium and linear-response conditions, and its worked example is a noninteracting electronic model. It is not an experimental verification for every material. Earlier work identified circulating currents; the later phonon-specific papers have their own versioned bylines.
