Scientific scope
Huang, Zhao and colleagues measured angle-sensitive negative longitudinal magnetoresistance in TaAs single crystals, alongside quantum oscillations and Hall transport. They interpreted the narrow aligned-field signal as evidence consistent with a chiral anomaly in a Weyl semimetal. The negative magnetoresistance is an observed transport feature under the stated sample and field conditions; attribution to the anomaly depends on modelling and control of possible current-distribution effects. The photoemission observation of Weyl band structure is a separate contribution. This preprint alone does not establish a unique mechanism or an independently replayed fit.

The linked original works support the scoped statement and contribution attribution. WRS has not independently replayed experiments or reconstructed a full mathematical proof.
