Make one version-aware reading note from the literature announcement

Choose one factual statement in the award announcement or its bibliography. Verify it against that document, then write one clearly labelled interpretation and identify what exact text would support or challenge it. Separately count the two invented classroom sentences and explain why length does not settle literary merit.

A useful result: A brief English note containing an exact source URL and page/section, separate fact and interpretation, text/translation/edition attribution where applicable, independently checked word counts, one limit and a useful next reading step. Opening or submitting a draft confers no grade or author endorsement.

Use public sources and small original examples. Do not invent a quotation, attribute the classroom sentences to Carson, reproduce long copyrighted passages, or claim to have checked a translation without access to the source language and exact edition. Keep original publication, translation, reprint and award dates distinct. A partial reading note is valid.
