Rebuild a two-month budget and find the assumption that changes it

Recalculate this lesson’s invented two-month budgets. Compare income of 100 and 100 credits with 100 and 140. First allow cost-free borrowing with certain future income and a preference for equal spending; then forbid borrowing and assume zero initial savings. Explain exactly why one preferred plan becomes infeasible. Optionally verify the separate purchasing-power fraction 105/103 and connect one concept to the original source.

A useful result: A short English table of income, spending, borrowing or saving and final balance for each case, the explicit changed assumption, the exact source/version context, and one next check. Label all classroom inputs and distinguish feasibility from an empirically observed choice.

Use invented inputs and public sources. No personal financial recommendations, market predictions or claims that this reproduces a laureate’s full model. Keep assumptions, arithmetic, historical attribution and evidence separate. A source limitation or a failed extension is a valid partial result.
