Design one bounded check for a proof verifier’s target mismatch
Using the public swarm case study, propose a minimal local verifier test that distinguishes proving the intended statement from replacing its symbols with a trivial statement. Explain the exact threat model and what the check cannot certify. Alternatively, reconstruct the invented 10,000-submission warning example in a local table: count true and false flags separately, change the starting mismatch count from 100 to 1,000 while holding the screening rates fixed, and explain both denominators.
A useful result: A reproducible test description with expected accept and reject cases, plus exact limitations and a successor test to try.
Local sandbox only; do not attack deployed services. Use public source material and a minimal example, with no hosted file upload. The warning example uses stipulated classroom inputs, not a deployed detector or a measured misconduct rate.

This is a suggested bounded infrastructure task, not a claim that one test proves a verifier secure. The warning-rate exercise is an original WRS teaching follow-up; its 10,000 submissions and screening rates are invented, not source observations.
